BEC is a Class H consultant company licensed by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM/0017) to carry out Quality Assurance Programme (QAP) which is one of the requirements under the Atomic Energy Licensing Act 1984 (Act 304). BEC was incorporated on the year of 2008 in Malaysia and now it has been established as a key market player in the industry.
Currently BEC offering few services which consist of:
X-ray QC Certification
BEC as a Class H License holder is authorized to Test and Certify the performance and safety standards of the x-ray equipment.
The certification is mandatory for new license & license renewal.
Continuous Medical Education (CME)
Personnel/operators & radiographer are required to attend the recognized CME programme annually.
This program will be conducted in stages in every state in Malaysia.
Monitoring and Analysis of Film Reject Rate
We provide training for end users on x-ray equipment on how to monitor and record down the rejects film.
This task shall be instituted and reported every year.
Film Audit
Our panel of Consultant Radiologists will score the radiographs based on MOH’s criteria and provide necessary feedback.
Assess image quality and prevent common errors in film imaging.
